The calabash is an important nature hardware found throughout Africa. A callabash is made from the hard shell of a fruit in the gourd family. Once the calabash is dried and hollowed out it can be used for many purposes like cleaning rice, carrying water, drinking and eating containers, and decoration.
Proverb: The forest is full of man's medicine, healing power and food.
